Manila to Ho Chi Minh City: flying it nonstop
Last checked
Flying it: nonstop options
- Philippine Airlines flies Manila–Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat, SGN) nonstop: PR591 daily plus PR597 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays in its winter timetable for Oct 25, 2026–Mar 27, 2027 [S1].
- Vietnam Airlines sells Manila–Ho Chi Minh City on its own route page [S2]. The page doesn't show a schedule, so frequency isn't confirmed; check with your airline.
- Cebu Pacific and VietJet are reported to fly the route too (not confirmed on an official page; check with your airline).

Connection tips if you're continuing on
- Nonstop is the obvious choice; there's no reason to connect elsewhere for this short flight.
- On separate tickets you'd have to enter Vietnam to re-check bags, which needs a visa for US passports (see below).
Passport notes
- US passports: visa needed. Apply for Vietnam's official e-visa before you travel (up to 90 days, single or multiple entry) (see the US passport cheat sheet).
- Philippine passports: Vietnam's rules for Philippine passports aren't covered here; check with your airline.
