1. Who we are
Route Desk is a paid travel-planning advice service offered under the Layover Compass name. Route Desk is operated by RTG Global Sourcing Limited, which processes payments for Layover Compass and appears as the seller on your checkout page and receipt. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the operator of Layover Compass. Contact: hello@layovercompass.com.

3. Advice only
Layover Compass provides travel planning advice only. We don't sell, book or arrange travel, we don't handle money for flights or hotels, and we aren't a travel agency. You book directly with airlines or any seller you choose. Schedules, fares, seat availability and entry, transit and visa rules change without notice. We check official sources on the date shown in your plan, but we can't guarantee they won't change or that an airline or border officer will agree with them. Your airline and the relevant government make the final decision. Please confirm every rule with official sources and your airline before you book and again before you travel. Our plans are general travel information, not legal or immigration advice, and we don't advise on US visa or immigration matters.
We never book, hold or ticket travel, never log in to your airline or loyalty accounts, and take no commissions. Paid plans contain no affiliate links.
4. Visa & Entry guidance
The Visa & Entry add-on gives practical guidance on non-US destination visas, transit visas, entry rules, timing and paperwork. It's practical travel guidance, not legal advice. We don't file applications. We don't advise on US visas, ESTA, green cards or US immigration status; for those we only link to official sources such as travel.state.gov, the relevant embassy or the official eVisa site.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, complete information about your trip and travelers.
- Don't send passport numbers, dates of birth or card details.
- Check every rule with official sources and your airline.
- You make and pay for your own bookings.
6. Ordering, payment and turnaround
You order by emailing your trip details and paying by card through our payment processor, Airwallex, quoting your order reference. Turnaround is counted in business days (Monday–Friday) from the later of payment and complete trip details. We confirm orders within 1 business day and may pause the clock while we wait for missing information. We take a limited number of orders each week.
7. Follow-up
Each plan includes one round of follow-up questions by email within 14 days of delivery.
8. Refunds
- Before we start: if we can't take your trip (out of scope or fully booked), we'll tell you within 1 business day and refund you in full.
- Changed your mind: a full refund if you cancel before we begin work, which is usually within 1 business day of payment.
- Late delivery: if your plan arrives after the promised turnaround, we refund the Rush fee, or $25 on a standard plan, and still deliver.
- After delivery: plans are custom work, so we don't refund delivered plans. If something in your plan is factually wrong as of the date we checked it, tell us within 14 days and we'll correct it. If we can't fix it, we'll refund the plan fee.
- Liability: our total liability for any plan is limited to the fee you paid for it. We're not responsible for fares, schedule changes, denied boarding or entry, or other costs of travel.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days.
9. How plans are made
AI tools help us research and draft each plan. A person reviews and approves every plan before it's sent.
10. No guarantee and limit of liability
Schedules, fares and rules change, and airlines and governments make the final decisions. Our total liability for any plan is limited to the fee you paid for it. We aren't responsible for fares, schedule changes, denied boarding or entry, or other travel costs.
11. Privacy

12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in place on the date you order applies.
